This map contains the Black-eared Hemispingus and Western Hemispingus. The latter is found in southwest Colombia and northwest Ecuador. This map only shows a part of its distribution (the dot west of Quito, Ecuador). The Piura Hemispingus, formerly a subspecies of the Black-eared Hemispingus, has its own map.
