Visually very similar to [Sulphur-rumped Myiobius] but rare and only found at higher altitudes (1000-2000m). Ranges don't overlap. Colors less bright (ProAves) and yellow is only on center of belly (tawny {flanks}) ({HBW}). Also about two cm. larger.
