This is one of those typical rainforest skulkers - often loud ("Walk to work") so they can be heard when not easily seen in the darkness, but seldom seen unless you really look. They are so beautifully and brightly coloured, yet camouflaged perfectly amongst the dappled light and leaf litter - their first instinct is to stand perfectly still to avoid detection. It took me ages to get close enough to this bird to get these shots, and had to use 3200 ISO to get anywhere near a reasonable shutter speed to capture it.
