I couldn't have made this bird up if I tried!
It is an open savanna-woodland relative of the Turacos found in Southern Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, Zambia, Burundi, DRC and Malawi with a separate population in southern Ethiopia.
It has a bare face (with dark facial skin) and its common call sounds like it is saying "go-away go-away!".
Thankfully it is not found in Scotland as I would cringe to think of what its common name would be here!
