These birds were quite common at both camp grounds at Bowra and Kilcowera - I think they live off campers scraps and hand-outs, plus there are exotic fruit trees panted at both which provide an abundance of fruit to sustain several birds all year round. They're quie beautiful birds, and have an erectile pink crest on their nape. I'll try and dig up a photo of one with its pink nape showing.
