My first guess was a Slaty-capped Flycatcher, and I wrote below, but it never quite fit, and the bird looks like a Tyrannulet. I had written ... The "dingy salt and pepper" face and slaty cap are there, but the wing edges are not yellow. Nor does the bill appear longer and narrower than the Bristle-Tyrant genus, as written in "Birds of Colombia". And now that I've seen the Slaty-capped, it's not even close.
