This photo was included in a paper suggesting the minimus subspecies of the Golden-faced Tyrannulet become a full species. Alas the photo was taken from too far a distance, but the authors didn't have another photo.
Similar to, and split from the [Golden-faced Tyrannulet], but even smaller. In the range of the [Spectacled Tyrannulet], which includes Santa Marta and Perija, Coopman's is found at lower altitudes.
