Complete List These birds are found only in south and central America, and seem to be coping the with changes to their environment better than other birds. Toucans are actually in the same taxonomical order as woodpeckers (Piciformes). In 2011 New World Barbets, also in the same order, were moved out of the family Ramphastidae, and are now in Woodpeckers album.
