Seen at 800 meters on the eastern slope. For me this species seems wrong here, and the Whiskered Myiobius should be here, but this photo seems to clearly be a Tawny-breasted. OK, I now see sometimes Whiskered have a very orange chest, and I am not sure if this is subspecies related or something else. But in 2024 some vocalizations lead the reserve to believe this is Tawny-breasted after all.
Visually very similar to [Sulphur-rumped Myiobius] but rare and only found at higher altitudes (1000-2000m). Ranges don't overlap. Colors less bright (ProAves) and yellow is only on center of belly (tawny {flanks}) ({HBW}). Also about two cm. larger.
