Often found in flooded forest habitat, and always near water. Almost identical to [Black-chinned Antbird] found mostly north of the Amazon river, but has more (about a centimeter) of white at the end of the tail, and a song twice as long. Recorded for the first time north of the Amazon in 2019 by me, Bird Data editor Tom Friedel!
