This is technically probably one of my better photos in recent times. Exactly how I would have shot it (in terms of camera settings) if I had had ages to think about it (which one never does in bird photography). Virtually straight from the camera, full-frame, ISO 320, f7.1, optimal bird photography settings.
EDITOR: This photo was so nice I took the liberty to touch up the bottom just a bit, where the branch intersected the tail, and sent it back to Tobias.
