OK, lets cut to the chase. During this pelagic, on the Sunday, there were decent numbers of Wedge-tailed Shearwater for this time of the year, so I focused on getting some nice shots of them.
In the end, some came out much better than I had expected. Here is one such photo.
This shot was taken using David Stowe's 300mm f4L IS USM---many thanks David for allowing me to use it!! This was shot at f4, which results in a beautifully diffuse background, as you can see here. It really is a lovely lens, a great piece of glass. And whats more, it is really light!!!! A little too light for me, if you get my drift:))
