Even if you do not usually look at my photos, you gotta check out this one. He is scratching his head, and during the process he has opened his beak. I assure, he wasnt screaming because I was looking at him!!
New Holland Honeyeaters are very common at the Botanic Gardens in Canberra, and afford great views to whoever is willing to stay with them.
Presumably this is a younger bird because of its yellowish gape.
