I thought I would share this image of a tiny West African Endemic called a Kemp’s Longbill (macrosphenus kempi) . I saw a pair in Sushen Forest in the south of Ghana on the 14th November 2015. This species rarely stays out in the open long and so I was delighted to get this image of a species that is not often photographed. This race is found from Sierra Leone to SW Nigeria and another race from SE Nigeria to Cameroon.
