Ovenbirds are a very diverse group of usually brown birds found in Central and South America in every possible type of habitat. The Ovenbird (Seiurus aurocapillus) warbler is not in this family. The term ovenbird comes from the clay oven-like nest built by the Rufous Hornero, the national bird of Argentina.
