This is a typical phase Long-tailed Jaeger, my second lifer for the trip. Note the very little amount of white on the otherwise uniform grey upperparts. Other jaegers have larger white wing flashes.
Long-tailed Jaegers have a very buoyant flight, rather more like that of a tern than that of the larger jaegers and skuas.
