You can see this guy is waiting for something---it was only the day after that he had a nest right behind me!!!
For those of you who dont know, this is the Australian Bee-eater---the Rainbow Bee-eater. It is our only bee-eater, and nests in sandy banks (wherein it digs a decent sized tunnnel, at the end of which is its nest).
