Espcie que descrevemos em homenagem ao exmio taxidermista, coletor e ornitlogo Emlio Dente, que trabalhou por dcadas no Museu de Zoologia da USP e contribuiu de maneira significativa para o conhecimento das aves do Brasil.

This species is a remerge of the former Fulvous-throated Antwren, and includes the Yasuni Antwren. Note white throat stippled with black on male only. First called Stipple-throated Antwren.
