I don't like any photo that looks like the photographer is interfering with the bird, such as a photo of a bird flying away from the camera. In this case I had crawled in position behind tall grass, and only when some other people twice my distance away approached did this single Scarlet Ibis separate from a group of White Ibis for a photo.
And it appears to by a hybrid as the neck looks like it has some where, and maybe it isn't completely red (the late afternoon sun also affected the color).
