White-capped Tangers are very unique in that they have communal nests and (I was told) a social structure. This is a female who goes out to gather food for the group. They also act a lot like jays, moving in groups and screaming loudly.
A unique jay-like tanager that makes communal nests and is believed to have a social structure. When not nesting the birds wander, and are not reliable anywhere.
