According to the lady who runs the hummingbird feeder in Puerto Iguazu, the Scale-throated Hermit can be differentiated from the similar Planalto Hermit by scales on it's back, and differences in color on the throat. Well, this bird does have scales, so I am going with the Scale-throated Hermit. Plus the Planalto is not supposed to be here according to the map on Infonature or Narosky's book.
