A Rusty-margined Guan rolling in the dirt. Thanks to Dan Brooks of The Cracid Specialist Group who helped me differentiate this Guan from the Dusky-legged Guan, which overlaps in range. The Rusty-margined Guan is slightly smaller, has rusty colored edges to it's primary wing feathers and others, and has a rufous 'vent', or lower abdomen.
Smaller than the [Dusky-legged Guan], and note rusty edges to wing and tail feathers, and rusty/rufous belly/{vent} (vs. brown). Also Rusty-margined has a light or white eyebrow (latin name superciliaris).
