At Selva Park Hotel in Cacoal, Brazil, it was hard to tell the wild Macaws from those with their wings cut. My theory is they routinely capture Macaws and cut their wings. Then they go through a human acclimation phase before their wings grow back and they can fly again. In the mornings I would see a dozen Macaw's on the ground, and wouldn't know which ones were 'wild'.
