On August 26, 2011, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and the California Department of Fish and Game announced that projects throughout the state will receive more than $24 million in grants through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s (Service) Cooperative Endangered Species Conservation Fund (CESCF).
