A Yellow-bellied Siskin or an Andean Siskin (the females are very similar). At the time I wrote this I thought of the Andean Siskin as a paramo species, but at 2600 meters, HBW indicates Andean is more likely. Both are common on checklists at Rio Blanco. The pale front and possibly white vent, and overall paler yellow fit more with the HBW illustration of the Andean Siskin. I'll check my other photos after this trip before changing the ID.
