The Sacred Ibis is found in Florida ever since a caged population escaped from MetroZoo in Miami during hurricane Andrew. Recently an article in the local paper said they were being shot on sight, because they were invasive species and were stronger than the native ibis. I don't know the status of that, but there are many feral Sacred Ibis at MetroZoo even now.
