Lesser Violetear
One of the most common and widespread hunmmingbirds in Latin America. The 'ears' actually pop out at a 90 degree angle from the body, but this is rarely seen.
In 2016 the Green Violetear was split into the Lesser Violetear from Costa Rica south to Argentina, and the Mexican Violetear.
