At 3200 meters. A sexy hummingbird with all of the iridescence around the vent and rump (and add to that the black boots, seen here pressed against the branch). Looking at this later, the white front indicates a female, and the puffs are partly or totally white. I had to hike half a day and sleep in a farm to get this photo, but now one can easily see them at feeders near Nevado del Ruiz.
