In national park Salamanca is a similar hummingbird called the Sapphire-bellied Hummingbird. Many believe it is a color morph of this hummingbird. I first thought this was a Sapphire-bellied as the belly has a blue tinge, but this photo shows a bird with a very blue front. However I've changed my mind again looking at other newer photos.
