A Striped Cuckoo perched on a species of twisted vine commonly seen in Latin American grasslands. One problem you rarely have with cuckoos is that they aren't looking at the camera. I was quite far from this bird, and he was intently watching me through some leaves, and finally he poked his head out for this weak shot, and flew off. (Text applies but refers to previous photo)
