Just back from a 4 day camping trip to the Weddin Mountains National Park. This NP is located NW of Canberra, and due West of Cowra. It presents an interesting blend of eastern and western species, with birds like Red-capped Robins, Spiny-cheeked Honeyeaters, Emus and Apostlebirds, while at the same time Eastern Yellow Robins, Yellow-faced Honeyeaters etc.
Birding wise, the trip wasnt particularly fantastic (in fact fairly ordinary) except for this one bird.
