Comments: song.   response to playback from a pair of birds. The first series of calls are given in flight from one of the birds, flying towards where the other was perched. Then as that bird approaches the tree it rose straight into the air, and dropped in to perch next to the other member of the pair, and both together give the second series of calls. Habitat was an area of tall trees in a dry drainage surrounded by disturbed thornscrub.     bird-seen:yes     playback-used:yes       Citation: Andrew Spencer, XC266669.
