This is a wildlife sanctuary shot through a wire mesh and fixed up in Photoshop. I could have spent more time on it, but I am hoping to get a real photo (either by me or a contributor). Crested caracaras do have a small presence in South Florida where I live, but I have never seen one. But I have seen hundreds of Southern Caracaras, once considered the same species, in South America.
