Tom Friedel Photographer Info Page

Tom is a lifetime computer programmer and web site designer who also has a passion for 'birding' and photography. He is also the editor of BirdPhotos.com. His love of birds and nature goes back to days as a child reproducing Audubon paintings with colored pencils.

Tom is a Fort Lauderdale, Florida resident, but feels his best photographic work is from his travels to Central and South America. Currently he has a Canon 5D, Canon 300mm f/4 L IS, and Canon 75-200mm f/2.8 L IS lens.

Tom, who strongly feels that global change has to come from individuals, is a vegetarian, conservationist, agnostic, and recycling nut. He is also a Wikipedia contributor, adding images for a few dozen animals and places.
